Recording at Victor Studios
Victor Studios provides professional recording services within the Victor SoundWorks campus, offering artists, producers, and engineers a range of studio environments designed to support both contemporary production and historically informed recording techniques. Drawing on a lineage that stretches back to the earliest recording rooms in Camden, the facility reflects more than a century of studio practice while serving the needs of modern commercial recording.
The studio complex includes three distinct recording environments. Studio A serves as the primary modern facility, equipped for contemporary multitrack recording, production, mixing, and post-production work. Its acoustically designed control room and integrated recording system support a wide range of sessions, from vocal tracking and overdubs to full ensemble recording, media scoring, and project mixing.
Studio B centers on a preserved vintage console and recording system from Victor’s historic Hollywood Studio C — the same board used during sessions for artists including The Rolling Stones, The Monkees, and Elvis Presley. The room reflects the mid-1960s expansion of multitrack recording, allowing artists to work within the same signal architecture and technical framework that shaped many recordings of that era.
Together, the studios support a wide range of professional work, including album recording, ensemble sessions, production and engineering services, mixing and mastering preparation, media scoring, and specialized recording projects that benefit from either modern production capabilities or historically informed studio environments.
